About this pattern
A sun hat you made yourself is the best summer accessory. This one has a pretty braided band, and you get to decide just how wide that brim goes.
It's worked from the top down in continuous rounds, starting at the center of the crown and increasing outward, then working even to form the sides. The Wheatfield braided band goes around the hat, and then you increase again to shape the brim to your preferred width. An optional length of plastic coated wire can be enclosed in the final round to hold the brim's shape.
