About this pattern
Ripple blankets have such a happy, classic look, and doing one in the wheat stitch gives it texture you can really sink into.
It's worked flat in rows from the bottom up in my signature wheat stitch, using a rhythmic repeat of increases and decreases to form the classic ripple, or chevron, shape. It's made with worsted weight yarn, the pattern is written in US and UK terms, and a video tutorial is included.
