About this pattern
Ripple Stitch looks fancy, but it's only two rows on repeat, and this cotton washcloth is a great way to learn it. It's worked flat in rows from the bottom edge up with no shaping anywhere, then finished with one round of clean single crochet that keeps the zigzag crisp along the top and bottom. Make it in one color, or switch between two colors every two rows for stripes that follow the ripple.
