Washcloths are my favorite way to try a new stitch, and this one is so fun to watch grow. The Petal Loop Stitch makes a pretty textured chevron, and the stripes give it a cheerful pop of color.
It's worked flat in rows using the four row Petal Loop Stitch pattern, with increases and decreases placed across each row to create the chevron. Colors change every two rows. It's made in worsted weight yarn, written in US and UK terms, and includes printables and a video tutorial.
