About this pattern
These little ornaments are my favorite kind of holiday crochet. They're quick, they use up your stash and you get eight different looks to fill your whole tree with granny stitch goodness.
Each one dresses a clear 3.15 inch bauble. You work in the round from the bottom up with a couple of increasing rounds, then a body you can work plain or in any of seven colorwork charts, then a couple of decreasing rounds to close the top. Each ornament uses about 35 yards, which makes it a great stash buster.

These Christmas stockings are beautiful. The written pattern differs in places from the video: slip stitching the brim with right sides together, doing single crochet at top of brim to give a smoother edge. Overall a great pattern.
