About this pattern
If you've been wanting to make a kids' sweater but feel nervous about it, start here. It's worked flat from cuff to cuff, and it comes out looking like it was knit.
The whole thing is half double crochet through the back loop only, which gives you that knit look fabric. It needs just two seams to become a sweater, and it's sized from Newborn through 12 Years, so you can keep making it as they grow.

The pattern is easy to follow even for a beginner and the video is so helpful. The only thing I really struggled with was the neck, specifically the 4 YO size. I found that starting the neck in the middle of the back side instead of on the side of the neck helped it lay flat and fit better.
