This is the layering piece I reach for all year long. The filet diamond stitch is pretty and open, and the open front makes it so easy to throw on with just about anything.
It's crocheted flat in sizes XS to 5X and it's easy enough for a confident beginner. A full video tutorial walks you through it, and there's a stitch chart with its key so you can see exactly how the diamonds come together.

Beautiful pattern, I used truboo yarn, large, used 9 and a half skein. I did change the boarder to a camel stitch.
I loved this cardigan! It came out super cute! I made the medium and it’s a little smaller than I’d like but it still works for me. I used Honey Bee - Breathe Deep in the color clay. It took me about 7 skeins. I am making another one but I’ll try the size large with the same yarn.
